![]() ![]() It's basically a combination of 2 tuning systems. Did that make any sense? I don't wanna step on Diablo's toes in rambling, I just figure he's busy and you're pissed so here's an answer in the meantimeĬlick to expand. This is exactly correct. ![]() It'll be mostly correct, but doing it in person is the only way to get it 100% spot-on. So, if you provide someone those two values along with your air/fuel ratios (like you log the three parameters while you go beat the piss out of your car), then someone w/ the CMR software can make you a tune based on how those numbers correspond without actually putting your car on a dyno. ![]() Open-loop is a different story, then the car pulls from different tables (or at least other cars I've seen tuned do). Our cars pick the spark advance and the fuel out of a table based on only two things, manifold absolute pressure (MAP) and the engine RPM. Or, if you log the few key parameters (RPM, MAP, and A/F), you can have someone write you the tune out of the car and have it be 95% correct. ![]() You can get a "canned", or generic tune, like the predator ships with. It'll be out soon, then any Diablo dealer will be able to make you a custom tune, unique to your car, based on your car's performance on a dyno. The CMR software hasn't been widely released yet, it's still a beta. ![]()
